CELIA M KING

Celia King serves as the Chief Executive Officer for Leadership Newark, Inc., a nonprofit organization focused on strengthening the city’s civic infrastructure. Her responsibilities include the overall management and oversight of budgetary matters, numerous leadership development programs, and the organization’s personnel. She is also the former Councilwoman of Maplewood, New Jersey, a role she served for eight years, four of which were in the capacity of Deputy Mayor. Thomas Charter School Foundation, Newark Emergency Services for Families; Newark Trust for Education, Emerge New Jersey, and more.
