We see the humanity in our students and support them as whole people – not just widgets in a machine. Our schools are warm, safe and supportive. We created a positive school culture so that students feel free to try to learn new things, explore their identities, and use their talents to change the world. Our students’ caregivers are an asset and key to improving students’ outcomes. We give them leadership opportunities to make their voice heard. We recognize that our kids – like adults – may have hardships outside of the classroom that impact their ability to learn. Our staff and teachers are trained in how to spot these traumas and support students in their healing.
